In most cases, feedback can't be changed or removed unless it violates our feedback policy. However, it's possible to request revised feedback if you feel a comment is inaccurate or unfair.
You're the buyer
Feedback can become a permanent part of a seller's record, so as a courtesy, we suggest that you contact a seller to resolve any issues before leaving feedback that's neutral or negative.
If you left neutral or negative feedback but the seller has since resolved the issue, they can send you a request to revise your feedback. You'll then have 10 days to change or remove your feedback before the request expires.
Make sure your comments are fair, factual, and relate to the order that prompted the feedback request. Keep in mind that we don't allow abusive or profane language. See our member-to-member contact policy for details.
You're the seller
If a buyer left neutral or negative feedback, we encourage you to contact the buyer to find an acceptable resolution. Keep in mind, we don't allow coercion or bullying to get a better rating. See our feedback extortion policy for details.
You have 30 days to request a revision. You can send up to five requests for revised feedback for every 1,000 comments you receive. The buyer has 10 days to either agree and revise their feedback or disagree and state a reason why.
Both sellers and buyers can reply to feedback or leave a follow-up comment if you left feedback by mistake. Keep in mind, leaving a follow-up comment won't change a detailed seller rating.
In some circumstances, members can lose feedback privileges. For example, a buyer can't leave feedback for an item if the seller opened an unpaid item case for it.
