Here's what we found for "Handling returns from buyers"

You can manage return requests and track their progress through the returns dashboard. To see your returns dashboard, select View open returns. You can also communicate directly with your buyer through messages.

You have to accept the buyer's return request if:

  • The item is damaged or doesn't match the listing description
  • The request falls within your return policy

You have 6 days to refund the buyer after you've received their returned item.

If you don't agree with a return request, you can ask us to step in and help. We'll look into the request and resolve the issue as fairly as possible. If eBay finds on behalf of the buyer, you could receive a defect.

You can set up and customize rules, which makes handling returns easier, faster, and more efficient.
