Sometimes another member's behaviour and communications are out of line with eBay community practices, yet not against eBay policies. This includes sending rude or excessive messages to another member. While this behaviour isn't allowed in the public sections of the site, it isn't prohibited in member-to-member messages, and we don't investigate reports.
Examples of behaviours that violate our policies include misrepresenting identity, publishing another user's contact information on another site, or creating an account with false identification to avoid restrictions or limits. If you think another user is violating our policies, let us know. If you think the user poses a serious threat to your safety, we recommend that you contact local law enforcement.
We take these reports seriously, and carry out a thorough investigation before taking any action. To protect the privacy of our members, we're unable to inform you of any actions we may take against another member.
