You can close an unpaid item case 4 days after you opened it, or as soon as the buyer pays for the item. You'll receive a final value fee credit within 24 hours and, if the buyer didn't pay, you can relist the item.
If you don't close an unpaid item case within 37 days, we'll close it for you. However, you won't be eligible for a final value fee credit.
If you use Unpaid Item Assistant, your cases will close automatically, and you'll receive any final value fee credits you're eligible for.
Keep in mind that once a case is closed, it can't be reopened, and you can't open another case for the same item.
